Ursa Freedom Project is a global campaign to liberate 9,000 bears from crush cages on bile farms in China. The intent is to move the bears from these torturous prisons to the country club at Animals Asia. Together we can do it.
Jasper's Story
This is Jasper, the mascot for Ursa Freedom Project. Jasper lives happily at the Animals Asia Foundation sanctuary in Chengdu, China. Before finding joy and freedom at the sanctuary, Jasper lived for 15 years locked in a crush cage on a bile farm. Learn more about Jasper at Ursa Freedom Project.
Freedom Moon
Freedom Moon is a celebration of life and hope for bile bears. The 124-page book is filled with glossy images of the journey bears have made from tortured, imprisoned lives to renewed freedom through the efforts of Animals Asia.
